Mommy Marketing
Ya know the ads about laundry detergent… Mini vans that are cool, summer shopping deals…. The best floor cleaner..The greatest fucking spot remover.
WHO GIVES A SHIT!
Yes, I’m a Mom. I have been a Mom since I was 16 years old.
I’m 35 now.
Of course, it’s important that my children eat nutritious food and live in a clean, happy home. I think it’s a basic human RIGHT (as a child) to be fed, loved, clothed, housed, taught… etc
But that’s BASIC!
We have a higher standard in our house that includes manners, appropriate use of humor, even education and inspiration!
BUT that’s still pretty simple stuff…
As a Mom, I care about our environment as a WHOLE meaning on a global scale! So we are involved in a beach clean up charity and volunteer frequently. We also donate to a children’s hospital and an end children’s hunger organization. This supports my beliefs that children have the RIGHT to be fed, loved, clothed, housed, taught… etc
As my business grows, we look forward to supporting our charities in a more hands on fashion.
When you think about the pyramid of basic human needs… food and shelter are basic things..

How far up on the pyramid are you as a mom functioning? This question is why I hate Mommy Marketing. You see, I think about things like morality and my desire to be creative is realized on a daily basis! Why isn’t more marketing geared toward Moms about things like THAT!!!???
Do you get to have conversations about abstract ideas and ART!?
Or are you stuck discussing diapers, bills, the food budget, the broken down car, the past due mortgage?
If you are sick of feeling like a “lesser human” because you are a caregiver right now..
Maybe you’ll enjoy internet marketing as much as I do.

Maybe you’ll find the whole world opens up and suddenly you get to tap into the MEGA LOAD and you never feel aimless again.. You’ll never suffer another monotonous chore, or mindless article on “how to keep a clean home while making spending time with your kids a priority AND having an ultra successful super gratifying high paying career!!”””
That’s bull shit and we all know it.
Balance in this day and age is about outsourcing….
It’s about time management and prioritizing.
Delegating.. Working as a team.
We can HAVE IT ALL BUT WE CANNOT DO IT ALL!
One must first create the space in your life
To learn something new…
Which will lead you To DO SOMETHING NEW!
You might even DO SOMETHING EXCITING!~
But first You’ve got to be willing to find some space for YOU … Mom.
To stop being a Mom for a moment… and remember what it felt like to be a Passionate Woman!
To get beyond swiffering the floor, organizing the kids toys for the 19th time, and walking the dog?
I’d like to invite you to join us in the Power Moms Online Community for Summer School.
It starts today. 15 lessons.
Monday thru Friday. One Lesson A Day.
3 weeks.. An hour a day.

In a world of convenience, instant gratification and ease, getting uncomfortable seems like the last thing we’d want to do. But in order to grow, we MUST get uncomfortable. To be successful, we must be willing to get comfortable being uncomfortable.

I use my personal development as my source of inspiration for content creation. P.D is something that I do on a daily basis as a non-negotiable.
I can always tell if I’ve missed a day or two of personal development because it gets incredibly difficult to connect with source energy during meditation.
Gosh, sometimes I cannot believe that this is me now.. I used to thing that source energy, meditation and visualization were all fluffy phooey nonsense that people referred to as a way to make us feel inferior and sell us shit.
So much has changed about the way I think and the way I respond to my environment. Now I am able to connect with source energy in a way that brings peace into my life.
Raising our vibrations isn’t a switch that you throw after one day of building a network of wires.
It’s a practice.. a track we run on, an affirmation we repeat out loud in the mirror everyday.
It’s getting better and better everyday!
Mental Discipline is about controlling our focus, controlling our energy. Staying the course despite distractions.
This morning on the live stream after the wake up call. Brian went deep.. He said
“Start taking conscious control of where you focus your energy and attention.”
Click the quote to check out his video.
The person I am is defined not by my physical body, but by something else.
Something bigger and deeper
We spend our minutes as we spent our minutes the day before..If we do not break free of the cycle we are born into, we are destined to live the lives someone else designed for us. Connecting with source energy helps us break free of the limiting beliefs that were ingrained into us from our infancy.
If not the physical actions.. the beliefs.
The beliefs change slowly over time with practice.
I believe the world is the way it is not because of science and facts. But because of the influence of my environment controlled by my parents. It is my belief that must change.. not the world.. it is I.. that must grow.
My understanding, my perspective, MY VIBRATIONS!
When you control your environment, you can push yourself.. physically
Like the Navy Seals.. Todd’s example from this morning’s wake up call really put “getting comfortable with uncomfortable” into perspective for me.
You see at first I was like.. That’s a dumb statement.. because once you are comfortable being uncomfortable .. you’re no longer uncomfortable…. Right?
As Todd described how this practice helps them retain their focus despite any physical distraction.. I realized that the moment you are comfortable again… is the moment you immediately push yourself to a new.. HIGHER level of uncomfortable.
Now mind you, internet marketing is nothing like hypothermia, rolling around in sand, and being basically physically tortured…NO.
It’s learning new software or starting conversations that are hard.
It’s uncomfortable like THAT!
Here’s another example… might seem crazy..
My daughter took a tumble off the couch in February.
What I thought would be a bump and a bruise was a laceration that required 11 stitches.
Thankfully, my instincts kicked in, and I acted quickly. I literally held her gaping forehead closed while applying pressure with my shirt… Both my 12 year old son and 6 year old were home sick that day. My older son helped dial Adam who happened to be working in the shop at that moment. He was home and we were at the hospital in under 10 minutes.
Riding in the car in the back seat with my baby in my lap… letting her nurse for comfort while holding her head together is absolutely the MOST uncomfortable I have ever been..
After that day, I took all sorts of leaps in my business.. by the end of that week, I’d made $500 and gained 2 new clients…
You see.. prospecting, promoting my own stuff… was no longer scary or uncomfortable feeling compared to going through that with my daughter…
So while it may seem crazy to compare stitches to marketing.. That’s how my brain works.

Before you outsource
Make a list of everything you’re doing daily (whether business or personal)
Then make 3 more lists
- List the things you hate doing
- Make a List all the things you can’t do
- List all the things you shouldn’t do
Take each task and do another brainstorm of everything that goes into doing that one task in the order you do it (this will become your workflow & new hire training) Once you have a clear vision of your workflow, outsourcing simply becomes an act of delegating tasks that do not need your personal touch.
Once you’ve made all those lists and you’ve thought about what you want to create systems for, start creating screenflows (screen recordings) of you doing each task!!
You will use this to train your VA later
You are doing each task anyways so get into the habit of recording yourself doing everything and actually talking your way through it.
Why you picked that certain font over the others
what colors you like and don’t like
how you usually talk , words you don’t use etc
You can’t expect others to know what you’re thinking so talk them through WHY you do the things the way you do.
When is outsourcing right for your business?
From those lists, thank about the areas that you need to create systems for
this is a list of instructions
- for example:
- I do a FB live
- download that video onto my computer
- then upload the video to folder in dropbox

Getting restarted with your business probably isn’t something you ever expected!!
But now that we’re here, let’s get through it together, huh!?

Getting Restarted with Your Business

Have you found that you’ve lost your passion some where?
Here are 3 simple steps to take to get you back on track!
Are you ready to get restarted in your business? Are you ready to hit the ground running!?!?
Have you been dreaming of earning those promotions, lighting up the leader boards, earning the big checks, and growing a team?
My number one recommendation:
K.I.S.S.
Keep it SUPER SIMPLE!
Step 1: Make your plan! Set goals for yourself that are realistic but big enough to get you EXCITED! Then create a weekly method of operation that is sustainable. That’s right. Let’s create a routine you can commit to doing everyday for the next 6 months. K.I.S.S. I do this by using reverse goal setting and a tracking tool.
Need help with a W.M.O.?
Step 2: What caused you to fail, stop, or lose your passion in the first place? This is very important because if you don’t identify your weakness, you cannot grow. I like to follow Gary Vaynerchuk, and he shares that self awareness is the MOST important attribute.
Awareness is the first step on the path of growth. Identify your weaknesses so they don’t sneak up on you!
Step 3: Get a coach! Find a mentor who is doing, living, and achieving what you want to achieve! What rank are you shooting for? L3 & Diamond for me personally.. I will be completely transparent and say I did not have success online until I found and paid a mentor. She’s super amazing and offers free mentoring when I use her training platform. YEEEEES!!! Anyways, be coach-able and find someone NOW if you are serious about advancing in your business. Check out the place where I’ve started mentoring my clients using the same platform as my mentor! I figured that if I needed training for the training to make sense for me, then others must need it too.
BONUS TIME!
You’re going to fall down again. I guarantee it. You will also guarantee that you will learn more from your failures than you will from your successes! Everything is a lesson. I promise you, but getting restarted can become a bad habit. For a lot of people, it becomes an EVERY month or even worse an EVERY MONDAY occurrence. It’s up to you to decide to dig in and keep going. It’s up to you to get back up again.
ONLY YOU CAN MOTIVATE YOU!
Thanks for reading! I hope this helps you TODAY!
If you’re looking for some one on one coaching, the first step is reaching out!!!
Shoot me a message, I don’t bite! I do teach positioning and boundary setting right off the bat though!
“How bow dat!?”
just ask my clients,
Sherri
Annette
Yvonne
I have a saying… If you aren’t going to use it right now, DON’T LEARN IT~
I was on a webinar just last week and the speaker’s motto was:
“When you don’t know how to do it, SCREW IT!” She is already outsourcing!

Always be growing,

What to do when you’re feeling stuck according to Tony Robbins!
Check out his video
People suffer because they obsess about themselves.
All they can think about is what they’re losing.
What they’re missing out on, or what they’ll never have.
But do you know what?!
It’s not true!
It’s just NOT TRUE!
You only believe it because you’re letting your head take over instead of your body and your heart.
Anybody who’s plateaued in their job or stuck, saying they don’t know what to do..
I’ll tell you this,
You’ll never get the answer in the “stuck state of mind”.
If you’re angry, if you’re pissed off, if you’re frustrated, if you’re bored
Your brain is not going to come up with the same answer than if you’re feeling inspired or hungry.
The first way to break out of it is to…
FEED that mind!!
READ!! Start with the goal of reading an hour a day.
A Biography, a philosophy or a book about strategy! Go learn how other successful people did it!
The second thing is to get physical! For 10 minutes, do something intense physically!
It changes the way you feel mentally and emotionally and changes your performance.
Third is to get really crystal clear on what you want and find a role model!
The fourth thing to do if you want to stop being depressed is..
Stop focusing on YOURSELF
Take back control by giving to someone else who needs it more than you!
Go serve lunch at a soup kitchen, clean an elderly friends house, whatever!
It doesn’t have to cost money.
Help someone and you will realize that you have NO problems!
Certainly not problems that are unsolvable!
There you have it folks!
1) READ SOMETHING
2) Get physically active
3) Define your goals and find a mentor
4) GO HELP SOMEONE!
